On-site chair massage is a short treatment that:
- Can be provided at your workplace
- Is performed by a licensed professional
- (Usually) lasts from 15 - 25 minutes, using no oil or cream, and takes place with
the recipient fully clothed
- Generally covers the head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, and hands, and can be
adapted to special needs
- Leaves one feeling relaxed, refreshed, alert, and appreciative
The effects of stress are cumulative, and can lead to:
- Backaches, neck pain, headaches, wrist strain, eyestrain, disease
- Repetitive injuries such as tendonitis or carpal tunnel syndrome
- Listlessness, poor concentration, anxiety, depression, irritability, or anger
- Lowered resistance to colds and infections, high blood pressure, and heart disease
- Physical and emotional exhaustion
- Decreased productivity, increased absenteeism
On-site, seated chair massage works to:
- Calm the nervous system and increase circulation, which boosts energy and
alertness
- Reduce pain and muscle tension
- Help identify and release stress, helping to prevent more serious problems
- It is easy to set up on-site massage sessions:
- Assign a contact person to coordinate with the massage therapist and make a
schedule to sign people up
- Provide a space (only a small space is needed, but we recommend that the space
be relatively quiet)
- No up front cost is needed, the massage therapist provides all the necessary
equipment
- Can be provided as a wellness benefit or incentive reward
- Works great at organization events (health fairs, holiday parties, organizational
events, etc.); the benefits of massage are enhanced when received on a regular basis
- References will be provided upon request
- Our objective is to provide quality therapeutic massage services to your staff.
